Komodor: Kubernetes-Native Troubleshooting

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

The first question anyone asks when troubleshooting a problem in a complicated production IT environment is ‘what changed?’

In scaled-out Kubernetes deployments, however, change is ubiquitous and near constant. Troubleshooting by looking for changes is a much greater challenge as compared to a traditional IT environment.

Komodor is taking on this challenge via an approach the company calls ‘change intelligence.’

Change intelligence analyzes alert data from across the Kubernetes environment, adds contextual information, and analyzes dependencies among microservices and other services.

In this way, Komodor helps troubleshooters understand what changes in their Kubernetes environment might have caused the problem in question.
