Capsifi: A Digital Business Platform for the Digital Era

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

We last covered Capsifi in May 2019.

In the years that we’ve covered Capsifi, several things have remained constant. The business imperative to bring all elements of strategy, operations, transformation, and governance (among other things) under one roof remains, and has become even more strategic. The need to provide this visibility in a consumable and actionable form has likewise become even more critical — and more difficult. And the challenge in explaining how a platform such as Capsifi’s might accomplish these objectives has not become any easier.

Still, the company reports that it has redoubled its efforts to both continue to enhance its platform to meet these goals, and has continued to endeavor to make it even easier to use and explain. The company now positions itself as what it calls a Digital Business Platform, with an aim to leverage business architecture to enable innovation and transformation. Essentially, it believes that an organization’s most complex challenges (business model transformation, continually refining strategic objectives, dynamically managing operations, creating a culture of innovation, and re-centering the organization around the customer and employee experience) can only be solved by connecting all the moving parts of an organization.

It strives, therefore, to become the fabric of what it calls the new enterprise operating model, enabling organizations to mine the intersections between its strategic imperatives and, ultimately, turn this new business model into an asset itself. Beneath the covers, its platform leverages a contextualized knowledge graph that helps its customers consolidate, explain, and optimize their business operations — in a simple and accessible manner available to every part of the enterprise that needs it.
