Fresh off today’s announcement of their acquisition of MockLab, producers of the open source WireMock API mocking project, UP9 continues to build out its suite of resiliency tools for developers which also includes the Mizu API traffic viewer project for deep inspection.
Observability of the production behaviors of APIs is essential. This is especially true in cloud-native environments where thousands of ephemeral microservices can come and go in an instant. Getting ahead of misconfigurations and security flaws in preproduction sandboxes is far easier than attempting to reduce the blast radius after a problem appears in production.
