Gravitee provides an API management platform that supports end-to-end real-time streaming in a cloud-native environment.
This platform abstracts multiple protocols, extending well beyond RESTful APIs to real-time streaming data interfaces.
Gravitee handles this abstraction at the microservice level, and most customers deploy the product in Kubernetes.
The Gravitee platform is open source and also includes identity and access management capabilities, as well as a centralized tool for monitoring both API and access management, along with a visual API designer.
The platform’s real-time focus enables it to abstract Kafka (and other streaming) interfaces. For API consumers, it can support WebSockets, a real-time, full duplex protocol that is part of the HTTP specification.
