White paper for Skuid by Charles Araujo
When it comes to design thinking, I remember two particular moments of joy
The first was when I initially encountered it. Being an IT professional who seemed to naturally look at things differently, it was a breath of fresh air —an approach that validated my ideas and said maybe I wasn’t so crazy after all.
The second moment was when I was wandering the expo floor at a major tech company’s annual conference. There, underneath a massive sign that might as well have been in flashing neon, was an entire area devoted to the concepts of design thinking and human-centered design.
Our moment had arrived.
I say “our” because if you’re reading this, you’re a convert as well. You understand the power that design thinking and human-centered design have to help organizations transform themselves to compete in the experience economy. And that’s a fantastic thing.
