An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
When we last covered Bolster in August 2021, its anti-phishing and fraud prevention platform identified malicious links in phishing emails and recognized fake login pages and malicious mobile app stores. It also offered takedown support by working with various hosting providers.
Since that time, the company has extended its coverage to all the main social media platforms, as well as more specialized platforms like Discord and Reddit. It has also extended its takedown support by working with an increasing variety of domain name providers as well as hosting providers.
Bolster’s automated risk protection also extends to marketplace listings, including fraudulent listings on above-board marketplaces as well as dark web listings of all kinds.
Its platform provides automated monitoring of domains, web sites, and app stores; AI-based detection of phishing, brand infringement, and various types of scams; and automatic triage and remediation of threats.
