When we last spoke with Tanium in May 2018, its endpoint management and security offering covered desktops, laptops, and other endpoints that ran Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.
Today, the diversity of endpoints has exploded, with the addition of cloud and edge-based endpoints, including IoT devices.
Tanium has risen to this challenge with its converged endpoint management approach that offers endpoint visibility and automated, real-time threat remediation in a single cloud-based platform.
By ‘convergence,’ Tanium means that its tools bring together IT operations, security, and risk management with a platform that provides sufficient visibility for all these teams to achieve the control necessary to bring trust to IT departments responsible for the exploding diversity of endpoints under management.
