Wallaroo offers a deployment engine for releasing and scaling AI models and their associated compute and inference workloads to distributed networks and edge devices.
It’s easy to conflate AI and machine learning (ML) and mention them in the same breath, but when you look at the now early-adopter market for AI, the management of decision-making models in production is actually a separate domain from the training data preparation and interpretation aspects of ML.
AI models can become quite bloated in size and demand too much of the limited computing resources of their target environments, dragging down performance and often eating up cloud costs. Wallaroo’s solution optimizes the runtime installation of AI models to use less CPU and power resources, whether they are in a stockbroker’s network hub or on a cloud of edge cash registers, industrial equipment or smart cameras.
They are also platform-neutral and thus create a nice bridge for reducing integration effort and costs across an enterprise or joint partnership that has already invested in building up models and ML data pipelines on other clouds and data warehouse platforms.
