An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
Since we last covered SlashNext in March 2018, it has redoubled its anti-phishing technology for email, SMS texts, and other messaging technologies like WhatsApp.
SlashNext protects against malicious links, downloadable malware files, and the trickiest of all: natural language attacks like spearphishing.
When spearphishing attacks don’t include links or malicious attachments (e.g., “this is the boss – send gift cards to this address”), SlashNext must use AI-driven natural language processing to separate malicious communications from benign ones.
SlashNext works with both company-managed and bring-your-own devices (BYODs) via an installable application that the company can update remotely. It also works with all flavors of email, SMS, messaging apps like WhatsApp, as well as Slack, Zoom, and other communications technologies.
