Incident.io: Improving IT Incident Management

The incident.io workflow engine drives IT incident management response processes, reducing time spent managing an incident and ensuring follow up actions are tracked to completion. 

An organization typically captures and follows an IT incident response playbook, shared as a document that details the response steps and team responsibilities. Tools such as Jira, Snowflake, alerting systems, and so on are used to support the steps in the playbook. 

Instead, the incident.io product formalizes an organization’s playbook into a workflow, which eliminates much of the manual activity involved in coordinating an incident response team’s activities during and after an incident.  

The incident.io workflow is integrated with Slack (other integrations are in development), and uses Slack integration to tie into an organization’s systems of record. The workflow collects and collates incident data and provides visibility to all responsible teams and individuals within the organization of the status for all response activities.
