Chronosphere: Cloud Native Observability for Cloud Native Infrastructure

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

When we first covered Chronosphere in November 2019, it was extending the Kubernetes monitoring tool Prometheus to support cloud native monitoring at scale.

We next touched base with Chronosphere in February 2021, it had just rolled out its cloud native monitoring-as-a-service offering.

Today, Chronosphere offers a SaaS cloud native observability platform for cloud native infrastructure – leveraging cloud native scale and flexibility to deliver fast and reliable observability for even the largest, most complex cloud native deployments.

Chronosphere leverages telemetry including logs, metrics, and traces across all cloud native sources, including all flavors of Kubernetes and serverless functions.

Chronosphere ingests, analyzes, and triages incoming telemetry data to perform root cause analyses of any issues. Via its control plane, Chronosphere customers can shape, delegate, and optimize telemetry data across the entire cloud native estate.

Chronosphere coexists with traditional ITOM and APM tools for organizations moving to cloud native. The broader those customers’ cloud native deployments become, the more they leverage Chronosphere for cloud native observability.
