An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
There’s a problem with the concept of a hyperautomation technology space, in that it attempts to throw a tarp over the irregular structures bailed together by low-code app builders, RPA bots, snap-to-fit API gateways, and the core systems and external data services they depend upon.
Since our last coverage of Camunda in 2022, this leading process orchestration vendor has stuck to its knitting of giving a growing community of developers an open-source-backed platform for orchestrating processes, without dictating other aspects of an enterprise’s existing automation (or, if you still like it, hyperautomation) stack.
Newer features include a testing and deployment capacity, which can spin up functional Zeebe clusters to find potential incidents or bottlenecks before promotion to production. In addition, the firm has judiciously applied AI connectors as co-pilots for populating processes and tasks with variable data, predicting load levels and process anomalies, and handling some rote tasks like creating forms from a prompt.
