DataCebo provides a compact, headless generative AI-based synthetic test data modeling solution that can learn from user activity and data tables within the enterprise application estate, replacing traditional hand coded data preparation and rules-based application test data generation activities.
Like a clinical trial where the patient doesn’t know whether they are getting a placebo or not, it is not important for the application under test to ‘know’ whether or not it is being tested with synthetic data, so long as the responses provide insight. In fact, synthetic test data can scale to offer higher coverage levels without the inconsistency and potential privacy issues of real data.
Their supported SDV Enterprise solution is built upon the team’s contributions to the increasingly popular open source Synthetic Data Vault (SDV) project. Enhancements include higher scalability across tables, faster model training, and leaner ML workloads that don’t need GPUs to generate robust application data sets that exercise business logic without exposing private customer information.
