Leapwork provides a visual no-code test automation tool that business users can use to build and run tests for process-centric applications.
Leapwork is well-suited for testing apps that consist of integrations among software-as-a-service (SaaS) and commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications, for example, an order-to-cash application that connects SAP and Salesforce.
Business users can take business process requirements documentation as well as their understanding of the desired behavior of an application to create step-by-step tests that string together user interface actions.
Leapwork thus resembles robotic process automation (RPA) based test automation tools, except that Leapwork combines test automation maintenance and bug identification into the visual environment for the business user, thus reducing the bot fragility that plagues RPA deployments.
