Cloudbrink: Partnering to Build a Virtual Trusted Overlay Network

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

When we last covered Cloudbrink in February 2023, the vendor leveraged its global points of presence and SD-WAN capabilities to deliver high-performance, low-latency network functionality to its customers.

Cloudbrink is now capitalizing on this infrastructure to offer hybrid multicloud networking capabilities and zero-trust network access to provide secure ‘LAN-like’ functionality for end-users, regardless of their location.

Cloudbrink is now partnering with Japanese system integrator NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation (NESIC) to implement a virtual trusted overlay network (VTON) that provides abstracted, location-independent network connectivity that delivers Cloudbrink’s high performance, low latency, and zero-trust functionality for a global clientele.

VTON is hardware-independent and runs on top of existing network infrastructure.
