With its Agentforce IT Service offering, Salesforce is reinventing the IT service management (ITSM) category by leveraging AI agents to proactively discover and resolve issues for employees as well as IT services personnel, leveraging the power and depth of the Salesforce platform.

This service also provides automated discovery of configurations across the stack from the network to the applications, leveraging agents to build service dependency graphs on the fly. In other words, Agentforce is also reinventing the configuration management database (CMDB) category with agentic AI.

As you might expect from a market leader like Salesforce, Agentforce IT Service provides all the capabilities enterprises and midsize businesses have come to expect from modern service desk offerings, including the full breadth of service ticket management as well as the security, permissions, and governance that are now especially important for building trust in agentic systems.

The service includes over 25 pre-built AI agents as well as a studio for building custom agents, where customers can configure deterministic and non-deterministic behavior as required, as well as hybrid behavior that allows for a mix of the two.

Agentforce IT Service leverages Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) as its system of record, providing seamless integration across the Salesforce ecosystem. It also integrates seamlessly with Salesforce Slack as well as Microsoft Teams.
