An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
The technology world may have entirely transformed since we last covered Next Pathway in November 2020, but the company’s offering has remained remarkably stable.
Next Pathway offers automation technology and professional services for migrating legacy data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL (extract, transform, and load) logic to the cloud.
While the enterprises who take advantage of Next Pathway’s migration capabilities are more likely to leverage the migrated data for AI-related purposes now as compared to 2020, Next Pathway has stuck to its knitting, offering the best end-to-end legacy data migration services it can.
In addition to data migration, the company also solves the trickier problem of migrating legacy ETL logic to logic that is native to target platforms including Snowflake, DataBricks, Google BigQuery, and to a lesser extent, Amazon Redshift.
Source systems include legacy ETL platforms like IBM DataStage, Informatica PowerCenter, and Oracle Data Integrator, as well as stored procedures in various legacy database management systems.
In fact, many of Next Pathway’s customers have already migrated their data to the cloud, instead calling on the company to focus on ETL migration.
Next Pathway can automatically transform ETL logic to the more modern, data lake-centric ELT (extract, load, and transform) with sufficient accuracy to support modern AI enablement scenarios.
