Cosmonic: Adding Sandboxes for Building AI Agents to WASM-Based Platform

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

When we last covered Cosmonic in March 2025, the company was rolling out its enterprise-class WebAssembly (WASM) platform that brought multitenancy, enterprise-grade security, Functions-as-a-Service (serverless) capabilities, and other enterprise-level requirements to organizations leveraging WASM.

The company is now adding WASM-based sandboxes to this platform. These sandboxes are ideal for building and testing AI agents, as well as any other code (in any language) that could potentially misbehave in production.

These sandboxes run on any cloud, any flavor of Kubernetes, on the edge or on-premises.

Cosmonic also offers a multitenant ‘sandbox of sandboxes’ for large teams or MSPs that offer the Cosmonic platform.
