Mirantis: Adding Kubernetes-Native Management to Bring Customers ‘from Metal to Model’

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

When we last covered Mirantis in November 2025, the company offered a full-stack private cloud solution for smaller organizations running their own GPUs.

To break out of this low margin ‘GPU-as-a-Service’ market, the company added k0rdent, a Kubernetes-native management platform that works with any bare metal deployment or external Kubernetes cluster to automate AI infrastructure and services with template-based orchestration.

K0rdent helps Mirantis customers achieve high GPU utilization with hardware-level multitenant isolation. K0rdent also helps companies leverage the digital processing units (DPUs) in NVIDIA chips for even greater performance.
