Since we last covered AppViewX in July 2023, the company has expanded its zero-trust automation platform to a comprehensive certificate management and non-human identity management platform.
The identities AppViewX can help manage include both device and workflow identities, thus comprising identities for computers, mobile and IoT devices, network equipment, and servers, as well as applications, containers and microservices, cloud services and virtual machines.
AppViewX accomplishes this comprehensive non-human identity management via its full-lifecycle PKI certificate management platform, AVX ONE.
AVX ONE is a single platform that provides certificate lifecycle management, Kubernetes container security, IoT device identity, SSH key management, and even secure code signing that streamlines the signing process for developers and DevOps engineers.
AVX ONE can discover certificates across the IT landscape, identifying expiring or expired certificates, deprecated protocols, or other problems like the misuse of self-signed certificates and human identities erroneously used as machine identities.
The company also provides extensive automation capabilities via pre-built workflows and a no-code interface for modifying and creating new non-human identity management workflows.
Most AppViewX customers access the platform as SaaS, but the company also offers an on-premises option.
