An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
ShardSecure breaks up unstructured data into tiny, byte-size microshards to provide data security and privacy, as well as RAID-like redundancy that offers data resilience.
The company also offers agentless encryption which encrypts data on the fly with better performance than agented approaches.
Customers thus can rely only on microsharding alone, or alternatively encrypt data before or after the microsharding step for flexibility with their data security approach.
Exfiltrating shards is pointless as they do not retain sufficient information separately. Should a shard become compromised (either via infrastructure failure or ransomware attack), ShardSecure can reconstruct the data as of a point in time in the past.
Customers are now finding ShardSecure useful for AI data protection, both to protect training data as well as prompts. ShardSecure can also act as an MCP server.
ShardSecure works on premises as well as in private clouds, public clouds, and hybrid environments.
