Gallop: Agentic Legacy Modernization that Supports any Stack

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Gallop offers an agentic AI modernization platform that discovers and assesses existing legacy custom codebases, documentation, and even screen grabs to create an abstract representation of the legacy functionality. It can then incorporate new requirements to build a working application on any stack that follows any modern architecture.

Gallop works primarily with process-centric, home-built legacy applications like custom ERP running on .NET or various midrange systems. It then works iteratively with stakeholders and engineers to build working prototypes of modernized applications that they can adjust as necessary.

The platform also generates verified documentation and journey maps for the modernized applications, enabling organizations to validate the modernization approach before it begins.

Included in the architectures it targets are full security capabilities including encryption, access control, and security operations.

Intellyx hot take: Most of today’s agentic legacy modernization platforms target mainframes. Gallop stands out for its support for non-mainframe legacy.

Intellyx cold take: The agentic legacy modernization landscape is getting very crowded very quickly. Gallop will have to establish itself in this nascent market before the inevitable shakeout occurs.
