Everware-CBDI: Bringing Architectural Discipline to DevOps

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Everware-CBDI is a professional services firm that combines expertise within the US federal contracting space with deep knowledge of how to implement Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) for both government and commercial enterprise clients.

Over the years, it has put together the Agile Service Factory, a code generation tool that follows model-driven principles to implement an abstracted platform and functional framework for a wide range of complex enterprise modernization and application development scenarios.

By enforcing proper layers of abstraction, the Agile Service Factory provides the architectural constraints that enterprise development teams require in order to deploy architecturally sound solutions.

Its model-driven approach allows Agile, iterative implementations to support the velocity requirements of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) while remaining compliant with the architecture, a capability that is essential to enterprise DevOps deployments.

The Agile Service Factory was originally part of Everware-CBDI’s consultants’ ‘kit,’ but today the company has productized it, and is in the process of implementing a cloud-based version as well.
