APM has already largely morphed into Digital Performance Management (DPM), reflecting the realization that today’s applications are increasingly likely to depend upon end-to-end digital transactions. In 2017, we predict greater convergence between APM/DPM and IT Operations Analytics and Management (ITOA/ITOM), as infrastructure and application issues are increasingly intertwined.
