Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the hot buzzword in enterprise technology circles today, but for the disruptive vendors who are building AI-driven products, the focus is primarily on big data-related challenges.
WorkFusion, on the other hand, focuses on the process-centric challenge of automation. Using rules-based Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as a starting point, it adds machine learning to automate lower-level processes. The vendor also incorporates natural language processing, which supports a chatbot interface that can understand human requests and then respond by issuing instructions to the appropriate applications.
WorkFusion also leverages crowdsourced input both from inside and outside its customers’ organizations to train its AI, leading to increasingly sophisticated process optimizations that identify and eventually improve the quality of work overall. The end result: streamlined processes and a better user experience, both for customers as well as employees.
