You rarely see the words ‘sexy’ and ‘enterprise infrastructure’ in the same sentence, I’ll admit. Nevertheless, this week I had the opportunity to meet with several innovative startups in this typically asexual space, and the three I’m writing about here were all too happy to show off their plumage.
What makes such a vendor sexy? I look for a well-differentiated offering that solves a hard problem. I’m also highly sensitive to the overuse of buzzwords – a measured dose is fine, as long as they can walk the walk as well as talk the buzzy talk.
Here, then, are my three choices, walking the catwalk for your benefit.
