Ziften: System and Security Operations for Visibility and Control over Every Asset on the Network

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Ziften is expanding its established focus on endpoint security into what it calls system and security operations, or ‘SysSecOps.’

Ziften’s technology provides continual visibility into all the assets on the network, including edge devices, on-premises VMs and servers, and cloud-based endpoints via a lightweight agent. Ops teams can therefore use Ziften to identify compromises and track down malicious behavior quickly, before hackers can do much damage.

On edge devices like Windows PCs and laptops, Ziften can detect and manage performance issues, hangs, and bluescreens. If malware resides on the device, Ziften can often provide visibility into its behavior, enabling security operations to respond appropriately.

Ziften can also run scripts on endpoints in order to apply emergency patches or shut down particular ports, for example.
