BICS is a global telecommunications provider that offers a range of wholesale telco services including messaging, roaming, and connectivity solutions to carriers.
Included in this offering is 4G LTE connectivity for IoT devices and sensors, essentially a ‘SIM card for things’ that enables enterprise IoT deployments to leverage the mobile telephony network directly without any need for local networking.
As 5G rolls out, look for BICS to take a leadership position, both in 5G roaming services as well as 5G IoT connectivity, which is perhaps the most disruptive area of innovation for 5G services generally.
