An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
Since we last wrote about Vantiq in May 2017, the company has matured both its platform and its value proposition.
Its real-time platform still offers a low-code approach to building reactive, asynchronous applications that are well-suited to event-driven scenarios.
The Vantiq platform provides context to real-time event streams with real-time analysis capabilities that leverage machine learning, rules, and constraints to drive both predictions and real-time actions.
Vantiq applications run as microservices that can call other microservices, and the applications can run in the cloud and/or on the edge.
Internet of Things use cases are a sweet spot for Vantiq, but its platform can handle a wide range of real-time applications beyond IoT-specific apps.
