Diamanti: Enterprise-Scale Bare-Metal Container Infrastructure in Fifteen Minutes

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

With the continued success of Kubernetes and Docker, containers have become an important part of the enterprise infrastructure landscape. However, installing, configuring, and deploying these technologies at scale can be a time-consuming, complex process.

Diamanti solves these challenges with a bare-metal hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) hardware offering. The company has fully integrated both Docker and Kubernetes along with CentOS Linux directly on hardware without the need for VMware or another hypervisor.

Diamanti’s core IP lies in its custom storage and network controllers that deliver fast NVMe-based persistent storage and 2.4 million IOPS with sub-millisecond latency. Its container stack also offers management via the Diamanti OS.

In addition, the company has recently partnered with NGINX to add its load balancers to the Diamanti container stack for more flexible, scalable deployments.
