Diamanti: Multitenant Kubernetes for Hybrid IT Scenarios

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

When we last spoke with Diamanti in August 2018, the company offered a pre-built Kubernetes and Docker deployment on dedicated hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI). Because of this hardware component, Diamanti’s offering was exclusively for on-premises, collocated, or private cloud deployments.

This week Diamanti is announcing a new offering: a multitenant, multicluster, and multicloud Kubernetes deployment that expands its HCI footprint to a full range of hybrid IT scenarios.

With Diamanti, companies can treat Kubernetes clusters as single tenants in a multitenant architecture, opening up new opportunities for managed service providers to offer multicluster Kubernetes-based offerings, as well as enterprises who must maintain separate Kubernetes deployments for compliance reasons.

Diamanti also provides stateful application management across clusters, an essential capability that Kubernetes doesn’t include on its own.
