Clear Software: Minimizing the Toil of Business Processes Atop Core Systems with RPA

An Intellyx BrainCandy Brief

Clear Software - logo - Intellyx Brain CandyThere’s an old maxim in consulting: “If you can’t find the solution, there’s money to be made by prolonging the problem.” This is often true of the Sisyphean effort of attempting to build functional employee apps and manage business processes atop the core systems in place at any enterprise with a history: ERP, Accounting, HR, CRM. Countless hours are burned here.

Enter Clear Software with its ClearWork user workspace and ClearProcess robotic process (RPA) engine. Rather than attempt to screen-scrape the user’s path through core systems, they have integrated at the native API and data transfer layers of hundreds of current and legacy vendor offerings from the likes of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and others. This allows their engine to discover, interpret and present data and options to business users through a common work interface.

“One business process such as Order-to-Cash could require 50-60 different screens to execute in ERP systems,” says Jon Gilman, CEO of Clear Software. “How can I eliminate the majority of the non-value-add work?”
