Trillo: Developer-Oriented Low-Code Platform with ‘Insurtech’ Templates

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

The low-code platform from Trillo perhaps requires more developer expertise than comparable tools, but in exchange, offers a higher level of control than many of the simpler low-code platforms on the market.

While Trillo offers many enterprise-class capabilities for security, regulatory compliance, and integration, its strategy targets small to midsize companies, suggesting a partner channel strategy.

Trillo’s go-to-market strategy centers on vertical industries, with insurance among the first. To meet the needs of small and midsize insurance companies, Trillo offers a number of pre-built templates that cover many of the capabilities such companies require from their web sites and core applications.

Given Trillo’s model-driven, multitenant architecture that can run in any cloud or on-premises, supporting partners who want to build apps on Trillo’s aPaaS platform may very well be the vendor’s sweet spot.
