Kryon: RPA with AI-Driven Process Discovery

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions mimic the actions of users as they interact with one or more applications’ user interfaces, typically by clicking links and entering data into fields, thus automating processes without the need to change the underlying applications.

Typically, a developer or process analyst must create these workflows manually, thus implementing the sequence of tasks as per the requirements for the process.

Kryon takes a different approach. Using its extensive expertise in AI-driven computer vision and image recognition, its agents follow the actions of multiple users by recognizing the context of objects on the screen. The platform then creates the workflow automatically based upon many traversals of the process as well as rules and policies that govern its behavior.

Process analysts can then whitelist or blacklist particular process traversals to ensure proper behavior of the Kryon bots, or further optimize the processes by hand.
