With roots in network management dating from the turn of the century, Netreo has built a mature infrastructure monitoring tool. The company bills it as ‘full stack,’ although it does not intend the product to compete directly with offerings from APM vendors.
However, Netreo does compete in the AIOps market, offering machine learning-based intelligent alerts management, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis. It also integrates with ITSM tools to provide automation of incident response and remediation processes.
If you’re familiar with this space and haven’t heard of Netreo, it might be because it ran as a self-described ‘mom and pop shop’ until two years ago, when it recapitalized with private equity. Now its mission is to grow the company.
