The market for observability solutions contains several high-flying commercial vendors, but when you look behind the scenes of most enterprise IT application portfolios, implementations of open source instrumentation tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana and elasticsearch likely outnumber the purchased commercial tools by a margin of 10:1 or far more in ephemeral cloud-native deployments, largely due to developer preferences and cost factors.
Logz.io serves DevSecOps teams through an analytics dashboard, with a lightweight menu that directly loads in contextual UI views from those open source ELKstack and Grafana tools they already use.
Telemetry data — logs, traces and events — are pulled in from agents on any authorized cloud application infrastructure into a unified multi-tenant data store, correlated with API services and SIEM threat information, and filtered through machine learning to provide higher relevance and lower noise ratios for SREs to get to the bottom of the most important issues faster. Actionable alerts can also be configured to auto-notify most commonly known collaboration and support platforms.
