Portshift: Agentless Cloud-Native Security Platform for Kubernetes

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Portshift offers a security platform for Kubernetes.  The company built the platform on Kubernetes following an agentless approach that leverages (and secures) service meshes.

The platform scales across many thousands of deployments, providing a single source of truth for centralized governance of microservices and containers.

Portshift is able to detect and mitigate Kubernetes misconfigurations – one of the greatest challenges with securing Kubernetes, especially in today’s skills-deficient environment.

Portshift supports microsegmentation and transparent message encryption following a cloud-native zero-trust approach that abstracts endpoints across the Kubernetes landscape. As a result, Portshift can secure Kafka and other streaming technologies as well as HTTP (RESTful) interactions.
