An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
When we last spoke with Alef Edge in September 2020, the vendor was in the process of building out its network of private edge clouds that emulated 5G while leveraging other protocols.
Today, the vendor has productized its Private Edge and API Platform, delivering programmable private 5G infrastructure capabilities to partners and increasingly to enterprise customers as well.
Just what sorts of 5G-based applications enterprises might build with Alef’s platform and associated APIs, however, is still an open question.
To answer it, the company is fostering a developer ecosystem to drive the inevitable innovation around 5G and cloud-native edge computing generally.
