We last covered Mezmo in May 2019, when the company was LogDNA. Now fresh off its rebranding, Mezmo has expanded its log management focus to other forms of machine data.
Instead of centering its offering on storing log data, Mezmo can glean insights from log and other machine data in real-time as those data are in motion.
This real-time capability is especially important for providing observability for Kubernetes deployments, where ephemeral components might come and go at any time. Mezmo can thus provide insights into issues with Kubernetes-based applications that other observability tools cannot.
