Since we last covered Kobiton in May 2021, the company acquired real device testing vendor Mobile Labs.
Today, Kobiton offers real device testing both in the cloud and on-premises, as well as mobile testing automation at scale.
For real device testing, Kobiton offers a ‘cart’ with a few dozen different devices that customers can bring in-house if they like, or access via an as-a-Service model.
Kobiton’s software offering leverages scriptless technology for automation of test cases, as well as support for various third-party test script formats.
Kobiton also leverages machine learning for visual testing, which can discern whether a mobile app ‘looks right’ on a particular screen.
Kobiton is also rolling out accessibility testing for customers who must comply with accessibility regulations.
