Kinnami: Secure, Resilient Data Mesh for Sporadic, Variable Bandwidth Edge Networks

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Kinnami offers security and resilience for complex edge networks where individual nodes may be sporadic or suffer from variable network issues.

Kinnami turns such networks into data meshes, where every edge device serves as a node that can potentially communicate with all the others in a network and hardware-agnostic manner.

As a result, should a node drop off the network, built-in redundancy prevents data loss.

In addition, Kinnami breaks up and encrypts data across the mesh, so in the event of device compromise, attackers cannot access the data.

Kinnami is particularly well-suited for edge networks that are inherently sporadic, like military battlefield networks, first responder networks, and industrial networks with network challenges like those on oil rigs.

Kinnami is policy-driven, so customers can configure the behavior of each node, considering device type, location, environmental issues, or any other relevant characteristic.
