Loft continues to push the envelope of cloud native enterprise adoption and elasticity with their vCluster Pro supported offering for quickly reproducing Kubernetes-based environments at every stage of the CI/CD release for cloud-cost-effective usage-based scalability in production.
We’ve been writing about cloud native development since it was a thing, but the compact reproducibility of vClusters across hybrid cloud infrastructures resembles the advent of other system abstractions in tech history such as containers and VMs in the Kubernetes milieu.
The new supported distribution includes improved security and identity management, as well as interesting new announced integrations such as deployment to remote devices and telemetry sources through Mezmo Edge, and a secure hardened distro through Chainguard for establishing auditable source verification for vClusters within the software supply chain.
