Shabodi: Bringing Programmable Networking to Abstracted Heterogeneous Networks

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Shabodi offers an application enablement platform that leverages the programmability of 5G networks, extending that programmability to Wi-Fi and other networking protocols for edge and other use cases.

Shabodi is a member of the Linux Foundation’s Camara project, a global telco API alliance that is driving API-based interoperability across telco networks.

Shabodi extends Camara’s scope by abstracting network protocols, giving enterprise customers the ability to build network-aware applications on top of networks leveraging 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, and satellite protocols.

As a result, Shabodi enables ecosystem players from network equipment providers to telco operators and application vendors to build and operate vendor-agnostic, adaptable network-aware applications.
