An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
When we last covered Gravitee in March 2022, it provided an API management platform that supported end-to-end real-time streaming in a cloud-native environment.
Since that time, the company has doubled down on its ability to manage and abstract event streaming technologies, most notably Kafka.
Gravitee addresses many of Kafka’s shortcomings, for example, by providing APIs for defining clusters and topics. The platform also helps organizations leverage data in Kafka streams, a capability that is important for supporting AI efforts.
Gravitee works with other event streaming products and technologies, including Solace, Redpanda, Rabbit MQ, and others. The platform also supports the Kubernetes Gateway API.
Gravitee is cloud-agnostic and can also act as a universal governance layer for other API gateways.
