Certain change and configuration problems are so endemic and hidden in extended multi-tenant environments, that everyone commonly accepts that they can’t be addressed directly. So while we’ve seen great progress in automating configuration management, security monitoring, operations monitoring, SCM, testing and so on, we hadn’t yet seen a tool that can forensically drill down into every package, component, code and certificate change at this detail.
But the secret sauce here isn’t about finding and validating the details of every change, as that would make root cause detection overwhelming.
Evolven’s ability to recognize and correlate even the most minute deviations to planned or unplanned change activities, and predict potential impacts that haven’t yet appeared as detectable failures in deployment is where their solution can offer the strongest consistency.
