An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
We first featured Virtual Instruments in February 2019. Subsequently, the company acquired AIOps vendor Metricly (formerly Netuitive) in August 2019.
Virtual Instruments is now in the process of integrating its newly acquired machine learning technology to expand its AIOps capabilities. In particular, it will be able to perform predictive analyses on any operational metric, especially cost.
The Metricly technology will also enable Virtual Instruments to perform more intelligent workload profiling, thus improving its mature workload simulation capabilities. Its ability to provide visibility into workload dependencies is particularly important for dynamic hybrid IT environments.
