In the IT context, incident response generally involves a technical fix for a technical problem. For enterprises and web-scale companies, however, the most severe incidents – SEV 1 in the lingo – may involve a complex response from many teams and individuals beyond the technical team.

Kintaba addresses these broad, organizational responses to SEV 1 incidents via an automation platform that focuses more on collaboration among diverse personnel rather than simply the technical response team.
